Mission & Vision
Built on partnerships between law enforcement, the media, the public and a team of volunteers working together to solve crime.
Encourages citizens to become involved in solving crimes by offering cash rewards and anonymity to those who furnish valuable information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of criminals.
History
The idea of engaging the community for information about crimes was born from the tragic 1976 murder of Michael Carmen in Albuquerque New Mexico. Detective MacAleese’s innovative solutions inspired hundreds of Chapters across the United States and beyond.
The Ellis County chapters have a rich history of working with every law enforcement agency, ISD and the Sheriff’s Office to continue the mission.
